Education is really important

An old woman used to beg in front of the mosque. A person asked her if any of your sons are not able to earn?
So the old woman said yes, then why are you begging here? The old woman said that my husband’s has passed away.
My son has gone abroad for a job. I was given some money for going expenses, it has been spent, that is why I am begging.
The man asked – Does your son not send you anything? The old woman said – Every month my son sends colorful paper which I stick on the wall at home. The man went to his house and saw 60 bank drafts pasted on the wall.
Each draft was for Rs.50,000. Being uneducated, the woman did not know how much wealth she had. The man explained to her the importance of the draft, so the woman was very happy and surprised and worried that despite having wealth, she was begging.
Our condition is also like this old woman
We have the Qur’an and we kiss it with our mouths and keep it in our homes but we will be able to benefit from it only if we read it, understand its meaning and interpretation. And will bring it in your practical life.
Only then, God willing, both our world and the life hereafter will be better. We have a great treasure, but due to our ignorance, we are all deprived of the rewards hidden in it,
May Allah grant us all the opportunity to understand the greatness of the Holy Qur’an.
